Polyester Felt

POLYESTER FIBER & FELT

Polyester fiber felt is a heat and sound insulation material in which the fibers obtained from the recycling of Polyethylene Terephthalate, which does not contain chemical additives, are blended and compressed with the nonwoven needling method and brought to an applicable thickness.

Polyester felt alone means nothing in the building materials industry. But in other sectors, especially in the textile sector, its usage area is very common. It is not natural, flammable, and when thrown into nature, it continues to exist as a waste that pollutes the environment for hundreds of years. Therefore, it should not be thrown into the nature as waste. However, Polyester fiber, especially when it is made into felt, has a density of 120 kg/m3, a heat transmission coefficient of 0.034 W/mK, a breaking strength of 4.5-5.5 g/denier, an elongation at break of 15-25%, a sound absorption coefficient of 35 decibels. and it turns into a material with very superior physical values, which can be easily produced in desired thicknesses. Moreover, the raw material used is recycled, that is, it is a waste that is prevented from being released into the nature as waste. In this way, we prevent these wastes from being released to nature and hide them on the walls, floors and ceilings of a building throughout its life, as well as providing “multi-functional” and “energy saving throughout the life of the building”…

The contribution of such a use to the protection of nature and ecosystem should not be underestimated.

Physical properties of polyester fiber

Thermal conductivity coefficient (λ) is between 0.032 W/mK and 0.039 W/mK

Sound absorption value is 35 decibels

Tensile strength 4.5-5.5 g/denier

Elongation percentage at break 15-25%

Specific gravity 1.38 g/cm³

Under normal conditions, humidity is 0.4%

Resistant to acids, resistant to bases.

Resistant to oxidizing and reducing substances.

It is not affected by moths and harmful insects. Likewise, it is not damaged by microorganisms such as mold and fungus.

The biggest feature and innovation of these products is that our “clay-based” ecological material, which we developed and believed to be the “construction and industry material of the future”, is the basis and binder of the products. It combines very high adhesion strength and physical strength into a single structure, and transfers its non-flammability, physical durability, insulation, and decorative properties to the products we develop.

At the same time, thanks to the technique we have developed and applied to all our products, there is no “HEAT BRIDGE” in any of our products. No matter how good the material is, insulation will be inefficient if it contains thermal bridges.

it is unique in its field and has no rivals.

Material used: GrePor mineral foam we developed, recycled polyester felt (front and back surfaces), Carbonized Pine timber (for panel frame)

Dimensions: 6.0 x 130 x 260cm (For structures to be built in mild winter and summer conditions) – 9.3 x 130 x 260cm (For structures to be built in heavy winter and summer conditions)

Sound Insulation: Soundproof

Water and moisture insulation: Water and moisture proof, breathable

Thermal insulation: 0.040 W/mK

In the structure of these panels, which are produced from 100% sustainable, ecological and natural materials; Swamp reed, non-porous clay and geopolymer-based non-porous GreCer, porous mineral foam GrePor (click for more information about materials) materials developed by our company were used as surface and filling. The main body that forms the panel is made of carbonized, natural-resistant pine wood. Recycled polyester felt is used under the GreCer layer on the outer surface and on the inner surface. Thus, the resistance of the panel against sudden and hard mechanical impacts has been increased to an extraordinary extent. Carbonizing the exposed surfaces of the tree to atmospheric conditions permanently prevents insects, caterpillars, fungus and mold spores from damaging the tree. In addition, carbonized wood fires up to three times longer than non-carbonized wood. In all our panels and construction technique, the interior surfaces facing the living area are covered with recycled polyester felt and GreCer is applied as a thin layer on top of it. Gypsum plaster application of at least 8 mm thickness to be applied to this surface creates an interrupted gypsum plaster layer on the interior and cuts the relationship of the wood in the panel frames with the interior space. Thus, the wooden material used in the panels is protected against the possibility of fire that may occur indoors.

APPLICATION TECHNIQUE
The application technique of the panels is very simple and does not require expertise. First of all, a platform that will be made of scaled concrete blockage or resistant to natural conditions, preferably impregnated timber is created on which the building will sit. FLOOR, WALL, CEILING SOUND & HEAT INSULATION BARRIER, one of my product groups, is covered on this platform (you can check the product’s features from the content on my system).
In order to create a wall on this barrier, the first step is to apply a thin layer of uninterrupted silicone between the panels, bring them side by side and fix them with simple tools like a vise. A wall consisting of two panels is obtained by screwing the panels that come together and touch each other at an angle of 35 degrees from the interior part. As a result of repeating this process according to the size of the construction in the plan you will apply, you can perform the assembly of the walls required in a large area in a very short time with your family members or friends.
In the corners, square studs with panel frame thickness are used as wall connectors. Panels coming from 90 degrees in both directions are screwed to the corner timbers at an angle of 35 degrees. The fact that the panel frames come together to form a load-bearing column of almost 10 x 10 cm, and the corner wooden carriers of almost 20 x 10 cm (together with the panel trees) in the corners allow you to create a second attic for the building. If you apply the roof height and slope adequately, you can obtain ¾ of the area you will obtain on the ground as an attic.

In a short time, our detailed, fully insulated roof panel solutions and ready-made house projects will be presented to your liking.

MODULAR “DIY” EPS PANELS

Materials used: GreCer mineral binder we developed, recycled polyester felt (on front and back surfaces), Carbonized Pine timber (for panel casing)

Dimensions: 4.3 x 130 x 260cm

Sound Insulation: Soundproof

Water and moisture insulation: Water and moisture proof

Thermal insulation: 0.040 W/mK

In the structure of these panels, which are produced for temporary use in natural disasters; EPS foam, non-porous clay and geopolymer-based non-porous GreCer (click for more information about the material) materials developed by our company were used as surface and filling. This application creates a continuous non-combustible layer in the interior and definitively breaks the relationship of the wood in the panel cases with the interior. Thus, the wooden material used in the panels is protected against the possibility of fire that may occur indoors. The most important feature of these panels and the system is that within a few hours, they can create cabins and logistic spaces of the desired size, which are heat, sound, humidity, water proof, with healthy accommodation conditions.

This product group we have developed is a packaged kit that covers an area of 7.30m2 – 10.80m2 and 15.40m2, has a high above ground modular floor construction, side walls, and roof components, and will be kept ready for use in the warehouses of disaster response organizations in disassembled form.

+ They can be installed and put into use in the range of 1 hour to 2 hours, depending on their size.

+ It is much more rational than all solutions in the world markets with its storage in kit form, cost and very easy, fast installation that does not require expertise.

+ Metal and plastic are not included in its production. Since the front and back sides of the panels are covered with GreCer (please read the specifications in the relevant section), it is impossible for the natural conditions and the people to come into contact with EPS.

+ The continuous GreCer surface in the living area completely eliminates the dangers of fire and health problems that may arise from EPS.

+ Although it is thought that aesthetics and appearance are not important in disaster conditions, the aesthetic visuality that our product group will provide and the simple, albeit comfortable, dry and warm sheltering area in a short time will increase the morale and motivation of the disaster victims.

+ When disaster conditions improve and structures are no longer needed, structures can be disassembled again and put into storage.
